LOGAN - Merrill H. Bryner, 62 of Logan, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007, in Logan, Utah. He was born on May 31, 1944 in Price to Hardison and May Woolly Bryner. He married Simone Larson and they are the parents of two children, William of Highpoint, N.C., and Teresa of Senegal, Africa. He received a bachelor's degree from Weber State University and a master's degree from Brigham Young University. He was employed at the DOD Dependent Schools as a science teacher for 36 years. He served in the U.S. Army. He had lived in Berlin, Germany; Kaiserslautern, Germany; and Logan. He was a member of the Reserve Officer Association, the National Educators Association and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He is survived by his wife and two children; three brothers, Robert (Luzon) Bryner and Richard (Erica) Bryner both of Logan and Wayne (Susan) Bryner of Smithfield; and one sister, Charlene Davis of Logan. He was preceded in death by his father, Hardison Bryner, and his sister, Joyce Craven. Military graveside services will be Wednesday, May 23, at 1 p.m. in the Logan City Cemetery under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary.
