Dear BERLIN Alumni,

Are you ready for some fun? It’s time for a get-together!

The BERLIN Brats – have decided to hold another “regional” in your area. The last one was in 1997. So don’t you think we’re overdue?

Yes, that’s right! On Saturday, October 9^th at 11 am. We’ll start by meeting at the historic Alamo and take our group picture. (If you want to tour the Alamo come earlier or stay later….as this will just be a meeting and photo op stop). From there we will walk the two blocks to the Hilton Hotel and descend to the river level. Once outside we’ll catch our very own Cocktail Barge. Step on board for a one-hour Riverwalk tour up and down the river with appetizers and cocktails. The Barge will then drop us at the Links Grille for a mission-style (old Mexican) courtyard luncheon.

If you missed our REUNION last year this is your opportunity to unite with some fellow BAHSers, to learn about the BERLIN Brats, to hear about upcoming events, and to view the DVD’s produced by our Reunion photographer from both the Breckenridge Reunion in ’99 and our most recent Reunion in Asheville in May of 2003.

We would like to see your memorabilia too, so please bring your yearbooks, pictures, class rings, and other memorabilia you may have in your collection. This will be a time for sharing and exchanging memories.

The Barge tour will consist of three appetizers and two drinks (Ie: beer, wine or margaritas). At the Links Grille you will have a choice of four selections starting with the Rio Plaza Salad. You may make your selection on arrival. The entire price for the day is $38 per person, this includes the barge trip, appetizers, 2 drinks listed above, lunch selection, tax and gratuity. Coupons will be issued for the drinks…so if both are not consumed on the barge you can then remit your 2^nd coupon during the luncheon.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 22^nd as we must provide a head count. Payment will be collected on arrival via cash or check made payable to the BERLIN Brats. Credit cards can not be accepted.

The Alamo is located at 300 Alamo Plaza, downtown San Antonio.

To reach the Alamo from U.S. 281/Interstate 37 southbound, exit at Houston Street, turn right, and proceed three blocks to Avenue E, turn left and continue to the intersection of Houston and Alamo Plaza. From Interstate 37 northbound, exit at Commerce Street, turn left on Commerce and proceed ten blocks to Alamo Plaza, turn right and continue on one and one half blocks. Parking is available at several pay lots in the vicinity of the Alamo.
